SPAMAYL Schedule - Day 3
That’s it!
It is 4:32AM and this is my third night on SPAMAYL Schedule. I failed last time because it just wasn’t the right time, my cousin was coming over etc…
I’m napping only at daytime to completely reverse my “habits” and especially to avoid oversleep. It’s just too hard to wake up after a night time nap… Very hard.
I’ve been napping 5 to 6 times...

SPAMAYL Schedule - Day 2
OK, so this day went a bit better, I only overslept an hour on my last nap. Here are my napping times:
9:00 AM
11:00 AM
1:30 PM
9:40 PM
2:40 AM
4:20 AM
6:40 AM
I can feel how badly my body is used to sleeping at night, I never fall into REM sleep during night naps. I’m going to try to sleep more in daytime, less at night, just adaptation-wise…

SPAMAYL Schedule - Day 1
I just finished my first night as a SPAMAYL sleeper. Fail. I napped 5 times yesterday but after the 5th nap, I stayed lying on my bed kind of sleepy, thinking “Oh I should get up, this is no good… no alarm clock and I’m feeling sleepy… I shouldn’t do… zzZZZZ”. Damn it.
Here were my nap times:

3:10 AM
I basically overslept for 4...

I just had a perfect nap, did 3 different dreams and woke up half a second between them, and it was such a good sleep, I’m really happy about it!

Everyman Schedule - Day 1
I woke up about half an hour ago from my core nap. It’s harder than I thought, and going back to bed crossed my mind already a couple times…
I guess that for everybody it’s the same deal, but adapting to this 4am wake up every night is really going to be the toughest thing I’ve ever done to my body. Anyway, at least I woke up on time.

First Schedule Modification
It’s about midnight here, and I’ve just figured out a better schedule:
Core nap: 01:00 to 04:00
Nap: 08:00 to 08:20
Nap: 12:40 to 13:00
Nap: 18:00 to 18:20
I remembered that I bought earplugs especially for those morning renovations so I was able to move it a bit and actually get the 4-8am span I wanted. Why? Sunrise!

Everyman Experiment Kickoff

I’m finally trying it out, after the past months I’ve been dreaming about a moment to start. A bit like quitting smoking, you always find an excuse not to start, so here it is: I’m trying Everyman-3.
