"The rest and the spell of sleep in the middle of the day refresh the human frame far more than a long night. We were not made by Nature to work, or even play, from eight o’clock in the morning till midnight. We throw a strain upon our system which is unfair and improvident. For every purpose of business or pleasure, mental or physical, we ought to break our days and our marches into two."

Everyman Schedule - Day 6

…and loving it.

I just woke up to what can be called the best core nap I’ve had so far. I’ve found the “trick”: sleep 3:30. My sleep cycle is more like 100-110 minutes than 90. It’s much better like this!

When I woke up, I was feeling like when you wake up at 3 am, some kind of twitching in my legs, some grogginess, but really not that bad. In fact, I sat in my bed, blanket on top, without any problems of falling back to sleep or anything like that.

I actually didn’t need doing physical activities just after waking up! I just ate, and I feel well enough to work/read/watch a movie without any fear of falling asleep :)

I’m really happy I kept on going. I read multiple polyphasic blogs and realized how much Day 4 is kind of a “turnpoint” and most of the time, it splits between those who will go on, and those who won’t :D
