Mind Tricks!
I just woke up from the best nap ever.
I set the alarm clock to 12:08, I closed my eyes at 11:43 (I always count extra minutes to fall asleep).
- My first dream was a dream where I woke up from my nap and it was 7:08PM. I started yelling “What the hell??” and then I realized that my roommate would have woke me up. I said to myself: “Nah, this is a dream…” and suddenly BOOM, the dream vanished.
- Half a second later, it was the same situation, except my roommate came to wake me up and was looking at me because I was talking in my sleep :p I woke up and told her that I bet I was talking and then I saw the door, it was decorated. “My door is not decorated!” BOOM, dream vanished.
- In the last one, I was looking out of the window and there were three people stealing a car I think. That’s when I said to myself: “OK enough, I must be 1 or two minutes before my alarm, I have to go to the chiropractor, let’s wake up”.
I woke up, it was 12:06, and I was feeling so rested.
It’s funny how your mind tries to hide the fact that it’s a dream, and that as soon as you realize it, switches the scene instantly. On tomorrow’s noon nap, I’ll try controlling them :)
